Who We Support
This year, proceeds from our fundraising efforts will be used to support the following Central Wisconsin organizations.
Patriot K9 Partners of Wisconsin: Their mission is to provide training for service dogs to assist US military veterans, at no cost to the veteran. The six month program, where veterans and service dogs train and work together to combat the effects of PTSD, traumatic brain injury and military sexual trauma, has proven to reduce or eliminate the need for medication in 94% of veterans in the program.
Crossroads K9 Rescue: This group rescues German Shepherds from around the country and rehabilitates and retrains them so they can be safely placed into loving homes. Happily, some of their puppies are currently being introduced into the Patriot K9 Partners of Wisconsin program for training.
Razorback Ranch: The focus of Razorback Ranch is to provide a safe haven for horses, goats and dogs that have been rescued from adverse situations, improving their quality of life through veterinary care, secure lodging and proper dietary support.
Whispering Willows Horse Ranch: Their focus is taking in abused and neglected horses, providing them with a safe haven, veterinary care and proper dietary support.
